Frequently Asked Questions

I have a substance I need to test, can you help?

Please see this information about testing outside of our normal services.

As always, the safest way to take drugs is not to consume them at all, and even high purity drugs carry a significant risk.

If you are going to consume drugs then it is absolutely essential that you have done some research to understand the risks you might be exposed to, and what you can do to mitigate those risks.

You should look for comprehensive guides that have been proofread before being published.

Asking questions to friends or social media groups will sometimes result in people answering your questions but forgetting to mention important information that you haven't asked about, so take care with advice from casual sources.

Some of our favourite resources are on the Resources page of the website.

Can you help me understand the risks associated with a certain drug?

It is always hard to have any certainty about this due to the logistical challenges of running a drug checking service. As soon as we know we’ll be at an event, and as soon as we have the permission of that event to do so, we’ll announce it on social media - please check our past posts about this. If we haven’t announced that we’re at an event then unfortunately that means we cannot currently give any further information about our presence there.

Where will you be testing in the future?
