[Daily Record] Top music festivals given green light for drugs testing

Some of Britain’s top music festivals are to allow revellers to test their drugs.

Reading and Leeds Festivals, along with other live music events, say they have the support of local police forces for the scheme.

Festival-goers will take their drugs to a testing tent run by The Loop, who conduct forensic analysis of drugs seized by police.

They will tell them what is in the drugs before destroying whatever was handed over.
